Memorial Day a Mile High

This year may have been my favorite Memorial Day! It was a day full of America's favorite past time... BASEBALL! It was the Rockies first double header in 40 some odd years.  They played the Houston Astro's and I got to go to both!  I went to the early game with my friend Leslie and we took the Elders because it was the first baseball game on a P day like...ever.  It was way fun!  About 14 other Elders were there too, they were all so cute and excited like little boys with their baseball gloves waiting for a fly ball! It was really fun!
After the game, we went to Cafe Rio and met Woody there and then Woody and I left from there and went to the second game!  It was SO FUN!  We were on the 17th row! After the game they had an incredible firework show.  I am not one to take pictures of fire works, especially when it's just at a baseball game.  Usually nothing too spectacular, but this was just as good, if not better, than the stadium of fire.  It was like 20 minutes long and everyone was just in total awe....EVEN WOODY!  They played Country music and USA songs the whole time and I won't lie, I got a little choked up.  I was just overcome with gratitude for the amazingly beautiful country we live in.  I am SO proud to be an AMERICAN! WOOOHOOO!
OH! AND THEY WON BOTH GAMES!
